"account": "The co-pilot aboard Flydubai Flight 1073 was reportedly barred from flying by Oman due to concerns about his adopted radical ideological views, according to the Wall Street Journal. The incident occurred during a flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv, and raised questions about background checks in aviation hiring. The co-pilot attempted to crash the plane by stabbing the captain, but two other pilots in the cabin managed to land the aircraft safely in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. The Wall Street Journal could not determine if Oman shared its concerns about the pilot's radicalization with other countries or airlines. US broadcaster CNN cited two sources, stating that the co-pilot was dismissed from his job at Oman's national airline last year due to extremist views. Al Arabiya reported similarly, citing an informed source. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that the co-pilot had undergone Islamist radical indoctrination and intended to crash the plane. He also warned that whoever was involved in the incident would face severe consequences.",
