"summary": "The Rantau Panjang ICQS Complex, a crucial entry point handling a high volume of cross-border traffic between Malaysia and Thailand, will be replaced by a new facility to address congestion issues. The existing complex, which has been in operation for many years, is no longer able to cope with the growing number of travellers due to limited space and poor traffic flow. The new facility is designed to facilitate smoother and more orderly movement, with separate entry and exit lanes between the two countries. This improvement is expected to help ease congestion, especially during peak periods such as weekends, public holidays, and festive seasons, when daily cross-border movement can reach up to 5,000 people. The complex, located on the Malaysia-Thailand border in Pasir Mas, houses various agencies including the Immigration Department, Customs Department, National Anti-Drug Agency, and others, and is strategically important due to its proximity to the border and the Sungai Golok river.",
