"account": "The investigation into the 9/11-like attack on a Flydubai flight bound for Tel Aviv has revealed a troubling trail of radicalisation involving the Omani co-pilot, Hamam Alhamami. According to investigators, Alhamami intended to crash the aircraft in Israel, having been indoctrinated into al-Qaeda's ideology and influenced by extremist religious figures during his time in Syria. He allegedly stabbed the captain mid-flight and attempted to destroy cockpit instruments before passengers intervened. Alhamami was previously barred from flying in Oman due to concerns about his extremist views, which were influenced during an earlier stay in Syria. He had spent much of his time outside Oman, particularly in Syria, where he was exposed to extremist ideas before travelling to the UAE. The co-pilot's background and motivations have raised questions about his rehiring by Flydubai despite previous red flags.",
