"summary": "The West Bengal Congress has sought clarification from the Election Commission of India (ECI) regarding the status of 2.2 million appellants who wish to submit Form 6 during a special enrolment exercise.\n\nIn a related development, a court case in Goa has highlighted issues with the ECI's Special Intensive Revision exercise. A 41-year-old resident, Paresh Salgaoncar, took the ECI to court after his family's names were deleted from the electoral roll.\n\nThe Goa Bench of the Bombay High Court expressed concern over the ECI's procedures, stating that it is \"perturbed\" at the way \"the rules have been suspended\". The court has ordered the ECI to ensure that eligible voters are not left out of the electoral rolls.",
