"summary": "The co-pilot of a FlyDubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv, identified as Hamam Alhamami, an Omani national, allegedly stabbed the captain and nearly crashed the aircraft. According to Investing.com, Alhamami had previously been banned from flying in Oman due to concerns about his radical ideological views.\n\nAlhamami spent considerable time outside Oman, particularly in Syria, where he was allegedly influenced by extremist ideas, as reported by Hindustan Times and NDTV. He later travelled to the UAE and was hired by FlyDubai, assigned to flights connecting the UAE and Israel.\n\nMaterial found among Alhamami's belongings included leaflets and publications from \"Free Palestine\" groups and other pro-Palestinian material, according to Times of India, citing i24 News. Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described the incident as terrorism, and an investigation is ongoing. The incident resulted in an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia, with the captain and co-pilot injured.",
