"account": "TWO oil tankers were struck by unidentified projectiles near the Strait of Hormuz, according to a British maritime agency. The incident occurred in a region critical to global oil trade, where a fifth of the world's oil and liquefied natural gas (LNG) passes. The Strait, vital for energy supply, has been a focal point of conflict between Iran, the U.S., and Israel. Iran has blocked the passage of commercial ships, firing on those it considers unauthorised. The U.S. responded with a counterblockade of Iranian ports to prevent oil exports. In the latest attack, one tanker experienced a small fire and blackout, but it was later extinguished with no casualties reported. A second tanker, struck hours later, also had no reported casualties or environmental damage. The UK Maritime Trade Operations agency is investigating the incidents.",
