"account": "KUALA LUMPUR, October 3 — Malaysia's MMEA vessel construction is progressing smoothly and ahead of schedule, with the completion and handover expected in late January next year. The vessel, MPMS 1, will become the largest ship in the MMEA fleet, significantly enhancing the capabilities of MMEA personnel in conducting various maritime operations, ranging from enforcement and surveillance to search and rescue (SAR) operations. Speaking at the launch ceremony in Istanbul, Türkiye, Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail commended the vessel's progress, noting that the construction was ahead of schedule. The event, attended by officials from Türkiye and Malaysia, featured a symbolic bottle-breaking ceremony using seawater from Malaysia to signify the close cooperation between the two nations. The launch of MPMS 1 not only strengthens the MMEA's operational capabilities but also opens doors for improved cooperation in shipbuilding, maritime industry development, and technology-sharing between Malaysia and Türkiye.",
