"account": "South Korea's joint chiefs of staff reported that North Korea launched an unidentified projectile towards the sea from its east coast. The incident occurred following a statement by Kim Yo Jong, a prominent figure in North Korea and the powerful sister of leader Kim Jong Un. Kim Yo Jong's statement on Friday rebuffed South Korea's demand for an apology regarding North Korean mines that had seriously injured two South Korean soldiers during a reconnaissance mission in the Demilitarised Zone (DMZ). The DMZ, a heavily fortified area separating the two Koreas, stretches across the Korean Peninsula, with a width of 4 kilometres. South Korea recently revealed that North Korean mines had caused a blast, resulting in the severe injury of the two South Korean soldiers. In recent years, North Korea has significantly escalated its hostility towards South Korea, renouncing unification as a national objective and labeling South Korea as its primary adversary.",
