"account": "United States coach Mauricio Pochettino announced on Friday that Tyler Adams will be the team's captain for the upcoming 2030 World Cup. Speaking ahead of the US's friendly against Mexico in Arizona, Pochettino deemed Adams the logical choice to lead the squad. The relationship between Pochettino and Adams has been strong over the past three years, with Adams having served as captain during the 2022 World Cup under Pochettino's predecessor, Gregg Berhalter. Adams, who plays for Bournemouth in the English Premier League, has become a key player for the US squad. He will lead the team in their upcoming match against Mexico, following the departure of veteran defender Tim Ream, who recently announced his retirement from international football. Adams expressed his desire to lead the team towards a winning culture and emphasized that his leadership experience has grown both on and off the field since his 2022 World Cup campaign.",
