"summary": "Vietnam has chosen a seven-day Tet break for 2027, opting for a shorter holiday period compared to the previously proposed 10-day option. The holiday will run from the 28th day of the last lunar month of the Year of the Horse through the fifth day of the first lunar month of the Year of the Goat, with Lunar New Year's Day, known as Tet, falling on February 6. This decision was made by Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra after reviewing the proposal submitted by the Ministry of Home Affairs. Civil servants and public employees will return to work on February 11, the sixth day of the new lunar year.",
