"summary": "US authorities have arrested a California-based technology company owner, Greg Lui, 38, over an alleged $300 million scheme to smuggle Nvidia AI servers to China. Lui, who owns Earthmade Computer, is accused of using Malaysia and Singapore as transit points to bypass US export controls and send restricted computer servers to China. The servers, containing Nvidia GPUs such as A100 and H100, are used in \"super intelligence\" applications that could potentially enhance military capabilities of other nations. Lui allegedly bought hundreds of millions of dollars worth of high-end servers from US manufacturers and arranged for them to be shipped to third countries before being re-exported to China without the necessary licenses. Prosecutors stated that Lui and his co-conspirators used false documents to misrepresent the intended users and destinations, routing shipments through Malaysia and Singapore before reaching China.",
