"account": "Rotimi Amaechi, the Vice Presidential candidate for the African Democratic Congress, has challenged President Bola Tinubu to reduce the price of petrol to ₦600 per litre. Amaechi stated that he would withdraw from the ADC ticket and campaign for Tinubu in the 2027 election should this occur. He made this statement while reacting to Tinubu's Independence Day address, where the President declared that Nigeria had entered an \"age of prosperity\". Amaechi questioned the credibility of Tinubu's claim, stating that Nigerians should assess whether economic reforms have led to lower prices and improved living conditions. He urged Nigerians to visit a filling station and verify whether petrol has indeed fallen to the stated price. Amaechi promised to campaign for Tinubu if the price of petrol is found to be ₦600 per litre.",
