"account": "Stray Kids has joined BTS in declining to submit music for Grammy consideration in 2027, according to JYP Entertainment. The label did not provide further details on the band's decision, which follows the Recording Academy's introduction of a best Asian pop music performance category. BTS announced their boycott in July, citing their opposition to the \"divided by region or language\" structure of the Grammys. Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. expressed understanding and respect for BTS' decision, clarifying that participation in localized genre-based categories does not preclude artists from consideration in the general categories. The academy has continued discussions regarding the category, with a recent virtual call featuring over 80 artists, executives, and stakeholders from the Asian music community. Despite the controversy, Stray Kids have enjoyed success in the past year, topping the Billboard 200 twice with their EPs DO IT and THIS & THAT.",
