"account": "Demolition of structures at La Pleasure Beach in Accra was carried out under the supervision of National Security, affecting popular entertainment spots like Pera Beach and Polo Beach Club near Labadi Beach Hotel. A joint security force conducted the demolition as part of ongoing efforts to clear structures in the La beach area, following weeks of warnings to occupants to vacate. However, some occupants claimed the notice period was insufficient, resulting in the destruction of properties valued at thousands of Ghana cedis. A single mother worker expressed frustration, stating they were only given two weeks' notice to start packing. Member of Parliament for La Dade-Kotopon, Rita Naa Odoley Sowah, confronted the security personnel at the scene and accused the government of being unaware of the exercise. She expressed dissatisfaction, claiming the action has left many jobless. The aftermath left the area littered with debris and damaged structures.",
