"summary": "The Sokoto State Police Command thwarted an attempted bandit attack on the Tsabre community in Isa Local Government Area, recovering two rocket launchers and other items abandoned by the fleeing attackers. The incident occurred around 1am on Friday when armed men invaded the village, causing panic among residents. The Divisional Police Officer in Isa mobilized tactical teams, including the Anti-Kidnapping Unit and Violent Crime Response Unit, to confront the attackers, who engaged in a gun battle with police forces before retreating into a nearby forest. The police subsequently recovered the weapons and other items, with the Commissioner of Police praising the officers' swift response and reaffirming the command's commitment to protecting lives and property.",
