"summary": "Tony Romo has parted ways with CBS Sports, leaving his role as the network's top NFL color analyst. According to CBS Sports, the split was a mutual decision. Romo had been on leave since his arrest in Wisconsin on July 23 for driving while intoxicated.\n\nRomo, 46, had served as CBS' primary game analyst since 2017, following his playing career with the Dallas Cowboys. He had been paired with play-by-play announcer Jim Nantz and sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson. JJ Watt had already stepped in as Romo's replacement while he was on leave.\n\nRomo has stated that he will take a break to focus on his health and family before pursuing his next opportunity. He pleaded no contest to the DWI charge and was fined $834, lost his driving privileges for six months, and was ordered to undergo an alcohol assessment program, according to Yahoo Sports.",
