"summary": "In Benue State, Nigeria, at least 20 residents from the Tyomu community were freed after being kidnapped and held for several days in a forest along the Otukpo-Ogbadibo road. The victims, including women, were released following a ransom payment of N8 million and the delivery of food items worth over N500,000. The victims were taken to local hospitals for medical examination and treatment upon their return to Makurdi. The Tyomu community received additional support from PureBioTech Nigeria Limited, which donated N1 million for the victims' rehabilitation and welfare. Local government Chairman Joseph Keffi also contributed N1.5 million to aid the affected residents. However, the Benue Police Command has not officially received any report about the incident.",
