"account": "Gandhi Hill, located in Tarapet near Vijayawada Railway Station, hosted a series of Gandhi Jayanti celebrations on Friday. The events, organized by the Gandhi Hill Foundation (GHF) and the Andhra Pradesh Gandhi Smarak Nidhi (APGSN), aimed to educate schoolchildren about Gandhian principles and values through competitions. GHF chairman Gandhi P.C. Kaza highlighted the hill's historical significance as a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi and his involvement in the freedom movement. He recalled Gandhi's address to the people in Vijayawada, inspiring them to participate in the national movement. The hill, featuring a prominent statue of Gandhi, also houses memorials and facilities dedicated to his life and philosophy. Kaza emphasized that Gandhi Hill is not just a monument but a testament to Vijayawada's role in the freedom struggle and Gandhi's call for citizens to engage in the national movement. The GHF, established in 1968, manages the Gandhi Memorial Stupa, museum, and library, working to restore and revitalize the facilities on the hill as a center for Gandhian thought, education, and public engagement. Notable speakers at the event included K.V. Chowdary, B.S. Murthy, D. Ramakrishna, Jandyala Shankar, D. Chakrapani, and GHF secretary Y. Ramachandra Rao.",
