"account": "Luke Kirby reprised his role as Det.-Sgt. John Darcy on \"Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent,\" joining the fourth season as a new co-star. Kirby prepared for his role by watching David Cronenberg's \"Videodrome\" and \"Crash,\" inspired by the filmmaker's unique perspective on the city. In the second episode, Cronenberg guest-starred as a clinical psychiatrist helping Darcy and Kathleen Munroe's Det.-Sgt. Frankie Bateman understand a killer's mind. Their character also happens to be Bateman's father. The episode focused on finding human body parts in packages at a mail facility, where an unsettling suspect had connections to the crimes.",
