"account": "Balrampur, October 2: A newborn girl discovered in a paddy field with a cloth obstructing her mouth has been rescued by police. In connection to the incident, a 22-year-old woman and her mother have been arrested for allegedly attempting to kill the infant, reported Superintendent of Police Martand Prakash Singh on Friday. The one-day-old baby, wrapped in a white cloth, was discovered in a paddy field in Kithura village, Shridattaganj area, on September 17. The infant was taken to the maternity ward of a government hospital in Balrampur for medical attention following her rescue. A report was filed by the village watchman at Shridattaganj police station after the incident. Police investigation led to the arrest of the woman and her mother, who were initially evasive but confessed during questioning to abandoning the newborn, citing fear of social stigma. The woman was allegedly involved in an illicit relationship with a relative, resulting in the birth of the baby girl, according to Singh. Police are currently searching for the relative, identified as Sajan, who they believe was also involved in the act.",
