"account": "The popular Nvidia Shield TV has been officially discontinued, while its more advanced sibling, the Shield TV Pro, is now priced 50% higher at $299. This price increase, from $199 to $299, comes as Nvidia grapples with rising component costs, including memory, across the industry. Despite the price hike, the Shield TV Pro remains a popular choice among streaming enthusiasts, boasting a Tegra X1 system on a chip, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and support for 4K HDR. With Nvidia already catering to gamers through its GeForce Now streaming service and the upcoming RTX Spark superchip for laptops and handhelds, the Shield Pro may become an increasingly niche product. As such, potential buyers may want to consider waiting for more budget-friendly alternatives, like the upcoming Apple TV, before investing in the now pricier Shield TV Pro.",
