"account": "Thousands of demonstrators took to the streets in Mumbai and Delhi on Friday to demand the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar following concerns over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) organized the protests in Mumbai's Shivaji Park, drawing notable figures such as actors Naseeruddin Shah, Shabana Azmi, Vishal Dadlani, and Vishal Bharadwaj. In Delhi, around 700 protesters were arrested after police denied permission for a demonstration at Jantar Mantar, citing prohibitory orders and imposing restrictions on public transport in central Delhi. The protesters, including members of the AAP, Left student outfits, and civil society members, criticized the CEC, calling for his resignation and demanding an end to the SIR exercise.",
