"account": "A solemn funeral mass for the late Nollywood legend Olu Jacobs commenced in Lagos, gathering a congregation of family, friends, and prominent figures in Nigeria's film industry to pay their final respects to the revered actor. The ceremony was held at This Present House, Freedom Way, Lekki Phase I, where several generations of Nollywood stars had come together to honor the pioneer of modern Nigerian cinema. The moment of his remains being carried into the venue marked an emotionally charged event, as his wife, actress Joke Silva, along with other family members, accompanied the casket into the service, emphasizing the gravity of the farewell. Prominent names in the Nollywood community, including Shaffy Bello, Kate Henshaw, Rita Dominic, Stan Nze, Blessing Nze, and others who either collaborated with or admired Jacobs, were present to bid him adieu. Among the dignitaries attending were Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, Abike Dabiri, and the former Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, all joining the family, friends, and loved ones to celebrate the life and legacy of Olu Jacobs, fondly remembered as \"GoldmyneTV.\"",
