"account": "A 29-year-old man, Arjun Singh, from Begum Bazar, was apprehended for selling liquor at inflated prices on Gandhi Jayanti, despite wine shops being shuttered. Goshamahal police reported that Singh was apprehended near Labour Adda around 1 p.m. on Friday while allegedly peddling liquor without a valid license. Police recovered 20 IMFL bottles, totalling 2.4 litres, comprising six 180-ml Good Day Prestige Whisky and fourteen 90-ml Officer’s Choice bottles. Singh allegedly procured the liquor at lower prices and sold it at a premium, exploiting the wine shop closures on Gandhi Jayanti. The accused had a prior criminal history, with seven cases registered across various police stations, including NDPS Act and Telangana Excise Act violations, alongside nine e-petty cases. A case was filed under Section 34(a)(f) of the Telangana Excise Act, and Singh was arrested at 3 p.m., subsequently produced in court and remanded to judicial custody.",
