"account": "President John Mahama visited communities affected by flooding in the Hohoe Municipality to express his sympathy and distribute relief items. The flooding, caused by heavy rains and the overflow of the River Dayi, has impacted over 5,000 individuals and destroyed hundreds of homes in the area. Mahama linked the recent flooding to extreme weather patterns associated with climate change, noting that unpredictable rainfall and alternating periods of excessive rainfall and drought are becoming increasingly common. He presented rice, mattresses, and other relief supplies to affected residents, and Dzata Cement pledged an additional 5,000 bags of cement to aid in rebuilding. Mahama praised the efforts of traditional leaders, MPs, and the municipal government in their response to the disaster, and assured that the relief items would be distributed fairly to those most affected.",
