"account": "French high school students have continued to demonstrate against long school hours, inadequate conditions, and staff shortages, leading to the closure or disruption of over 560 high schools nationwide. The movement, which began in Paris and has since spread across the country, has seen students block access to buildings and clash with police. Simon, a 15-year-old student, expressed frustration over the lack of textbooks and teachers, stating that their situation was even worse in the suburbs.\n\nThe government acknowledges the students' grievances but condemns the \"urban violence\" that has ensued. Police have faced accusations of excessive force and have used tear gas to disperse the protests. Education Minister Edouard Geffray claims the movement is being manipulated by \"ultra-violent fringe groups,\" and over 1,000 lycees have been affected. Many schools have moved classes online, particularly in Marseille. At least 65 staff members have been injured, 40 of them principals, while over 100 schools have sustained severe damage. Justice Minister Gerald Darmanin has called for parents to take responsibility for their children's actions during the protests.\n\nStudents in Rennes declared their school closed, condemning police violence. Since the movement's inception, around 2,000 people have been arrested, with 90% being minors. The government has blamed the hard-left France Unbowed party, led by Jean-Luc Melenchon, for the unrest. However, the party denies involvement, accusing the government of spreading conspiracy theories.",
