"account": "Thamby's Avarachan and Sons is a film that closely mirrors Madhu C Narayanan's popular Kumbalangi Nights (2019). Both movies explore dysfunctional families where home is not a concept they fully embrace. Avarachan (Biju Menon) is a middle-aged widower living with his two sons, Jaison and Jaimon, and Jaison's wife Keerthi. Despite his sons' responsible nature, Avarachan is a negligent figure, often found getting into trouble through his drinking and smoking habits. Set in the village of Chellanam, the film's central issue lies in its weak script. With a promising premise, Avarachan and Sons fails to deliver on substance, relying heavily on unimpactful humor and insensitive plot devices. The movie's attempt at subverting traditional roles falls flat, as it struggles to evoke genuine emotions or resonant connections with the audience.",
