"account": "Peterborough United has appointed Forest Green Rovers boss Robbie Savage as their new manager. Savage, 51, replaces former manager Luke Williams who was sacked on 19 September after a disappointing start to the League One season. Savage played for clubs like Derby County, Birmingham City, Leicester City, and Blackburn Rovers, and led Forest Green to seventh place in the National League last season before their play-off elimination. He joined Forest Green in July last year after managing Macclesfield. Savage will lead Peterborough in their first game against Ipswich Town Under-21s on 6 October, followed by a league match against Leicester on 10 October. He signed a long-term contract with Peterborough. Former Wales international Savage is excited about the challenge and the club's potential, emphasizing his desire to attack and win games. He acknowledges the need for trust in his coaching staff. The chairman, Darragh MacAnthony, describes the appointment as exciting and believes Savage has the personality and mindset the club needs. Savage's arrival comes at a time when Peterborough is sitting at the bottom of the League One table, with a poor goal-scoring record and recent managerial turnover. His appointment marks a significant change for the club.",
