"summary": "The Enugu State Police Command has identified the woman who was allegedly killed by her boyfriend, Okpara Chibuike Emmanuel, as 27-year-old Chinyere Rosemary Ugwu. The police disclosed this in an update on the case, stating that Ugwu was a graduate of Medical Laboratory Science from the Institute of Management and Technology and had recently completed her National Youth Service Corps programme. The suspect, a 30-year-old, was arrested following the alleged killing of Ugwu at his residence in Enugu's Olympic Layout area. Preliminary investigation revealed that Emmanuel allegedly killed his girlfriend following an argument over allegations concerning the source of a Human Immunodeficiency Virus infection. The decomposing body was discovered by neighbours after an offensive odour attracted them, leading to the arrest of the suspect. The police have urged the public, particularly women, to exercise caution in their relationships and ensure that trusted persons know their whereabouts.",
