"account": "Spain experienced its final stretch of heavy rainfall, storms, and showers this week, concluding on Friday. The extreme weather event began on Thursday and continued until Wednesday. As expected, the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) lifted the last red alerts for Tarragona and Castellón on Friday, as rainfall exceeded 250 liters per square meter in parts of the province and 170 liters per square meter in others. Red alerts warn of significant risk, with orange signaling important risk, the second level among three. Orange alerts for rain and storms were issued for Andalusia, the Balearic Islands, and Murcia. Yellow alerts for rain and yellow for storms were issued for Catalonia and the Valencian Community. Yellow alerts for both phenomena were issued for Aragon, Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla y León, the Community of Madrid, and Extremadura. The Protection Civil agency sent new ES-Alert messages to citizens in the Baix Ebre and Montsià regions of Tarragona, warning of major flooding and ordering the confinement of these areas.",
