In a tweet on X, Modi declared that Machchhar's \"valiant\" efforts averted a tragedy similar to the 9/11 attacks. The Indian pilot confronted danger despite risking his own life, showing the world the highest form of courage. He managed to open the cockpit door, enabling crew members and passengers to intervene, allowing the aircraft to make an emergency landing in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia.
