"account": "On Friday, October 2, 2026, the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) organized a protest in Chennai, urging the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC), Gyanesh Kumar, to resign. CJP State coordinator Selva Karthik addressed reporters, stating that the demonstration was directed at the \"corrupt and illegal actions\" of CEC Gyanesh Kumar. Protests were also taking place in other regions across the nation, according to Mr. Karthik. He alleged that the very rights to vote, as guaranteed by the Constitution, were under threat.\n\nKarthik emphasized that the situation was alarming, as it seemed that these fundamental rights could be jeopardized. He pointed out that in the 2026 Assembly elections, more than 12 lakh voters were disqualified, and in approximately 46 constituencies, the winning margin was a mere 5,000 votes or less. He asserted, \"If they appeal, about 20 lakh people could still be back on the electoral rolls.\"\n\nThe CJP protest highlighted the gravity of the situation, urging for decisive action against the perceived threats to the electoral process.",
