"summary": "Seven terrorists were killed in an intelligence-based operation in North Waziristan's Eidak area, according to state media. The operation was carried out by security forces who targeted militants of Fitna al Khawarij, a term used for terrorists belonging to the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).\n\nThe security forces pursued the terrorists with determination and combat skills, destroying their hideouts. President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif commended the security forces for the successful operation. The president appreciated the professional capabilities of the security forces, saying their efforts to completely eradicate terrorism and establish lasting peace under the Azm-e-Istehkam initiative are commendable.\n\nAccording to the Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies (PICSS), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been witnessing an increase in terrorist attacks, with 54 attacks recorded in August, a 50 per cent increase from July. The province has seen several intelligence-based operations recently, including ones in Mir Ali, Bara area, and Dera Ismail Khan, resulting in the killing of several terrorists.",
