"account": "A Michael Jordan jersey, worn during his legendary 'Last Dance' season in 1998, has shattered the record for a piece of Jordan memorabilia sold at auction. The jersey fetched £9.3 million ($12.3 million), far exceeding the previous record of £7.6 million ($10.1 million) set for a similar item.\n\nThe basketball icon played in game three of the 1998 NBA Finals in his iconic jersey, leading the Chicago Bulls to a decisive 4-2 series victory. This victory culminated Jordan's sixth and final NBA Championship.\n\nEntrepreneur Rob Gough listed the jersey for auction on Joopiter, a digital auction house founded and owned by musician, producer, and fashion designer Pharrell Williams. The auction house predicted the jersey would sell for between £7.5 million and £11.3 million ($10 million to $15 million), with the final price falling right in the middle of that range.\n\nAlongside this historic sale, Jordan's 1997 Ferrari 550 Maranello also found a new owner at auction, fetching £2 million ($2.7 million), quadrupling the previous auction record for that model. Experts lauded the 'Last Dance' jersey as a pinnacle of sports memorabilia, describing it as an embodiment of greatness and a symbol of basketball's transformation into a global cultural phenomenon.",
