"account": "Former presidential candidate Dele Momodu harshly criticized President Bola Tinubu's Independence Day speech, stating that it has placed Nigeria in a dire situation. Momodu, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, contended that Tinubu's remarks transformed the anniversary into a somber occasion rather than a joyous celebration. He lambasted the president for likening Nigeria to a cancer patient relying on painkillers to survive, claiming that this analogy was inappropriate. Momodu asserted that Nigeria was likely in the second stage of cancer when Tinubu took office, and the president's initial actions were a grave miscalculation. The former presidential hopeful urged Tinubu to stabilize the nation, as he should have, given his claim to be a renowned surgeon.",
