"account": "Manchester United Women has seen a significant improvement in their recent performances. Initially struggling with their new manager Eva Olid, they failed to win any of their pre-season matches or the first two games of the season against London City Lionesses and Chelsea. However, they managed to turn their fortunes around after drawing with Arsenal and winning three subsequent matches, including a dominant 10-1 victory over Sheffield United. The most recent triumph was a 5-1 thrashing of Durham in the Players’ Cup.\n\nThe club's official website announced the arrival of Jose Herrera as the assistant head coach for Manchester United Women. According to the report, Herrera will collaborate with Gavin Beith and Dan Bale under the leadership of Eva Olid. This change means that Scott Rogers will no longer hold the assistant manager position, having been appointed in 2025.\n\nHerrera boasts an impressive professional background in Spain, having served as a head coach in various clubs. Beginning his career at the age of 16, he holds a UEFA Pro Licence. He started his career at Málaga CF Femenino in 2019 before moving to Granada in 2020, where he spent three seasons before becoming the head coach of UD Tenerife from 2020 to 2024. In the 2024-2025 season, Herrera took a break from Spain to manage Al-Hilal Women’s team in Saudi Arabia.\n\nHerrera's managerial career took an interesting turn this year, as he assumed the role of head coach for Atletico Madrid women. Under his guidance, the team reached the final of La Copa de la Reina, albeit losing 1-3 to eventual champions FC Barcelona. In the Champions League, Atletico Madrid women were eliminated by Manchester United in the last 16, with Herrera's team suffering a 0-5 aggregate defeat.",
