"summary": "ESPN Argentina correspondent Federico Bueno has disclosed that Inter Miami forward Nico Paz will be the player to don Lionel Messi's iconic No. 10 jersey for Argentina following the veteran's retirement from international football. Messi, a Barcelona icon, announced his retirement from international football on August 31, marking the end of a remarkable career that spanned over two decades. The Inter Miami player will officially bid farewell to Argentine supporters during a friendly match against Benin at the Estadio Monumental in Buenos Aires on October 6. However, due to FIFA rules, Argentina cannot permanently retire the number 10 jersey, leading to the internal decision to hand it to Paz. The 22-year-old, recognized as one of the world's top attacking midfielders, joined Como from Real Madrid for a fee of €60 million last summer, with an €80 million buy-back clause in his contract.",
