"account": "Russian President Vladimir Putin has praised Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for offering \"very good ideas\" on resolving the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, stating that Modi raises the issue at every opportunity they meet. Speaking at the Valdai International Discussion Club on October 1, 2026, Putin emphasized that even amidst their strong personal and diplomatic relations, Modi consistently addresses the topic of ending the Ukrainian war. The Russian leader recounted a previous encounter before the BRICS summit in New Delhi, where Modi was briefed on the situation in Ukraine and Moscow's peace efforts. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov had previously indicated that Russia would welcome India's involvement in finding a peaceful solution to the conflict, aligning Russia's strategy with New Delhi's preference for dialogue and diplomacy. In a separate statement, Putin also commended India's cultural diversity and unity, highlighting Modi's remarks about India's population and the harmonious coexistence of multiple languages and ethnicities within the country.",
