"account": "Pitso Mosimane has swiftly taken charge as Bafana Bafana's head coach, leading the team to a flawless start in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign with a 5-0 victory over Eritrea in Cairo. The pressure was on Mosimane to carry on the legacy of his predecessor, Hugo Broos, who led Bafana into the knockout stages of the FIFA World Cup for the first time. Initial impressions of Mosimane's tenure are highly encouraging. The team demonstrated excellent performance throughout their Group D opener against Guinea in Orlando, and showcased resilience by coming back to win the 2-1 match after conceding an ill-timed equaliser. In Cairo, Mosimane's squad was relentless, notably with Relebohile Mofokeng and Oswin Appollis at the helm. Mosimane's decision to make Mofokeng his primary playmaker has proven fruitful, as the South African international has adapted well to European football with Union St Gilloise. Appollis, on the other hand, was occasionally given less playing time by Broos, but Mosimane has given him the chance to shine, and it appears to be paying off. While there is still plenty of time for development, the future for Mosimane and Bafana looks exceptionally promising.",
