"account": "Australian-Iranian national Arash Ebrahimi Far, a notorious drug kingpin dubbed \"The Kid,\" has been arrested in Colombia after evading authorities for years, according to Colombian police. Ebrahimi Far, who had been hiding in Colombia since December 2018, was apprehended as he was leaving a hospital where he had been admitted following a gunshot wound. He is currently awaiting potential extradition to Australia to face charges related to alleged large-scale criminal activities and drug trafficking. Colombian authorities describe him as one of the top leaders of a large-scale criminal network capable of moving significant quantities of narcotics and firearms. After years of building a case against Ebrahimi Far, Western Australian police Commissioner Col. Blanch expressed frustration with the extradition process, emphasizing the impact of organised crime on the region.",
