"account": "Andrew Bailey secured a spot in both the Masters and U.S. Open for next year after winning the U.S. Mid-Amateur golf tournament on Thursday. The 34-year-old from Cleveland defeated Nate Smith, a 43-year-old home builder from Idaho, with a final score of 5 and 4. Bailey took the lead with a birdie on the 23rd hole and maintained his advantage without a bogey in the final 17 holes of the competition. Despite leading Smith by just 2 shots after 18 holes, Bailey made a significant comeback by winning three consecutive holes. Smith confessed, \"He just played an exceptional round of golf this afternoon.\" Bailey's career was initially focused on professional golf, but a severe wrist injury sustained from rock climbing forced him to leave the PGA Tour. He regained his amateur status in 2017, three years after leaving college.",
