"account": "The haze that had plagued Malaysia for nearly two months finally dissipated this morning, leaving only one area with unhealthy air quality. As morning broke at 8am, Seri Manjung in Perak recorded an API reading of 101, just crossing the threshold into the unhealthy range. The air quality index (API) scale ranges from 0 to 50 for good air quality, 51 to 100 for moderate, 101 to 200 for unhealthy, 201 to 300 for very unhealthy, and 301 and above for hazardous conditions.\n\nIn the majority of the country, air quality was categorized as moderate, while five areas in East Malaysia experienced good air quality. These included Miri, Labuan, the Miri Industrial Training Institute, Limbang, and Kota Kinabalu. However, areas in West Malaysia still faced near-unhealthy air conditions, particularly in the Klang Valley. Shah Alam reported an API of 94, followed by Cheras (93), Klang (89), and Johan Setia (88).",
"summary": "The rest of the country has mostly moderate air quality, although API readings in parts of the peninsula are still near the unhealthy level.",
