"account": "Stella Lefty found the recent Saturday Night Live sketch that mocks her songwriting credits quite amusing. After the show shared a cut for time Weekend Update sketch on Thursday, Lefty shared the clip on her Instagram Story, jokingly captioning it \"Funny asf @nbcsnl (@veronika_iscool ur voice is amazing).\" She also chimed in on the comments section of the original SNL Instagram post, saying, \"I'm so dead @veronika_iscool ur voice is fire.\"\n\nThe skit featured SNL's Veronika Slowikowska impersonating Lefty beside host Colin Jost at the Weekend Update desk. The sketch centered on the online chatter surrounding Lefty's hit \"Boston,\" which has been likened to Noah Kahan's \"Stick Season.\" Slowikowska's version of Lefty insisted she penned all her songs before belting out tunes with well-known melodies, such as Chappell Roan's \"Pink Pony Club,\" Dolly Parton's \"I Will Always Love You,\" the Barenaked Ladies' \"One Week,\" and Taylor Swift's \"We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.\" Even Jost pointed out that one of her new songs was essentially Harry Potter's theme with new lyrics.\n\nThe timing of the joke is fitting, as Lefty has seen a significant surge in her career. Her real-life rendition of \"Boston\" has become one of the biggest country-pop hits of 2026, reaching No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 1 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart. Moreover, her debut album, Long Way Home, has reached the top 20 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, peaking at No. 11. Watch the full SNL sketch below.",
