"account": "On Thursday at Gillette Stadium, the talk centered around quarterback Drake Maye's shoulder injury despite his downplaying during a Wednesday press conference. He appeared on the injury report for the first time this season. All three coordinators, including Josh McDaniels, fielded questions about the quarterback's struggles and the injury. McDaniels stated he isn't concerned, noting that Maye has run the ball and taken hits during his time in the NFL. Injuries were widespread, with cornerbacks Christian Gonzalez, Christian Barmore, tackle Morgan Moses and rookie Reggie Gilliam absent. McDaniels emphasized that the team would find solutions to any issues arising from the absences. Concerns arose about Maye's confidence due to his poor start, including seven turnovers in three games. However, McDaniels maintained that Maye's demeanor has remained strong. Kicker Andy Borregales has missed important kicks throughout the preseason and regular season, and special teams coordinator Jeremy Springer urged him to focus on fundamentals to improve consistency. The Patriots also signed veteran offensive lineman Matt Pryor off the Arizona Cardinals practice squad.",
