"account": "A man was killed and another person seriously injured in a suspected cult clash in Lagos, Nigeria. The incident occurred on Sunday evening, September 27, in the Ojo Road area of Ajegunle. According to a report by Naija Confra, the confrontation began after a dispute, which led to Qudus, a member of the Aye cult, stabbing a suspected member of the Vikings confraternity. Following this attack, Vikings members allegedly attacked Qudus, leaving him seriously injured. He was taken to an undisclosed hospital for treatment.\n\nThe clash then escalated, with suspected Aye members retaliating and killing a man around a bus stop on Ojo Road. Both the Aye and Vikings groups claimed the deceased was a member of their respective cults, but the rival group denied this, stating that he was not a member. An X user, Mohawk, provided an alternative account of the events, suggesting that four people initially instigated the fight, with one of them bringing an outsider who attacked Qudus and three others.\n\nThe Police Public Relations Officer for Lagos State, Abimbola Adebisi, was unaware of the incident and promised to investigate further by contacting the DPO or Area Commander.",
