"account": "The \"Fast & Furious\" franchise is expanding into television with a new scripted series set to air on Peacock. The show has not yet revealed its plot details, but it is scheduled to premiere in 2028. Franchise star and executive producer Vin Diesel confirmed the news during his appearance on \"The Tonight Show\" with Jimmy Fallon. He explained that the desire to bring the beloved characters and their stories to television has been strong for the past decade. Executives, including Donna Langley and Mike Daniels, worked together to ensure the show maintains the integrity of the franchise while expanding its reach. The series is being produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, with Diesel serving as one of the executive producers alongside Sam Vincent, Neal H. Moritz, and Pavun Shetty. The final \"Fast & Furious\" movie is set for release on March 17, 2028, but plans for the 12th installment, titled \"Fast Forever,\" are still in development.",
