"account": "Twelve South, a renowned accessory company for Apple products, has introduced the AirFly Drive, a device that transforms wired CarPlay into wireless CarPlay. The AirFly Drive achieves this by using Wi-Fi to connect your iPhone to your vehicle, eliminating the need for a USB-C cable. Priced at $39.99 in the United States, the device plugs into the USB data port in your car. It is a small aluminum cube with a USB-A port, and a USB-C adapter is included in the package. The accessory stays plugged in, allowing for instant wireless CarPlay upon entering your vehicle. Pairing with your iPhone is only necessary once, after which the AirFly Drive offers rapid reconnection each time you start your car. A button on the accessory enables quick switching between two paired iPhones, a feature useful for shared vehicles. Before the first setup, you must remove your iPhone from your car's Bluetooth settings. The AirFly Drive is compatible with any iPhone running iOS 10 or higher and any car that supports wired CarPlay. Although similar dongles from other brands can be found on Amazon, Twelve South is a trusted maker of Apple product accessories. The AirFly Drive is now available for purchase in white or black.
