"account": "Former senior rabbi Steve Leder, who served as a consultant for the Netflix series \"Nobody Wants This,\" has criticized actor Adam Brody for his recent comments regarding the Gaza situation. Leder accused Brody of using the term \"genocide\" without proper understanding, labeling Brody as \"ignorant\" and his statement as \"flippant\" and \"disgusting.\" Leder argued that Brody's lack of Jewish education made his use of the term \"genocide\" particularly problematic. Brody, an atheist who had limited Jewish education, described his preparation for the role of Rabbi Noah Roklov in the show by attending a Shabbat service and studying through various resources. The show \"Nobody Wants This\" deliberately refrains from addressing the Israel-Palestine conflict.",
"summary": "Leder said in an Instagram video that Brody’s statements were “truly shocking,” “flippant” and “disgusting,” asserting his own view that “there is no genocide in Gaza.”",
