"account": "Two years after City Girls disbanded to pursue individual solo careers, Yung Miami has unveiled her highly anticipated debut solo album, aptly titled Watch Dis. On Thursday, the artist shared a dramatic trailer teasing the album, which opens with public criticism she faced from figures like Joe Budden and Akademiks. Akademiks specifically remarked, \"You failed at everything in life, the music you made is wack,\" to which Miami responded, \"I don't know how some days I built the courage to go in the studio to even record. But I remember putting all my emotions, all of that energy, everything that I felt, into this album.\"\n\nThough the exact release date remains unknown, Pitchfork can exclusively confirm that Watch Dis will consist of 20 songs, featuring an array of notable artists. These include Quavo, G Herbo, Lil Baby, Kodak Black, Shenseea, Vybez Kartel, and more. We are also pleased to debut the album's cover art, which you can view below.\n\nYung Miami is set to release not one, but two singles from Watch Dis at midnight tonight: \"2008\" and \"F U.\" In a statement to Pitchfork, the rapper expressed her confidence in her new work, stating, \"I could've come back with one song and played it safe, but why? I'm confident in what I made. I'm back to pop my shit and I want everybody to watch dis.\"\n\nSince their split, Yung Miami has been releasing tracks steadily throughout 2026, with hits like the chart-topping, summer anthem contender \"Spend Dat.\" Her last album under the City Girls name, RAW with JT, was released in 2023. Following the duo's split, Miami has focused on her Careesha Please talk show, which concluded its last season in 2024.",
