"account": "Atlanta Braves announcer Ray Kerr will take the mound as Game 3 starter in tonight's Wild Card Series matchup against the Philadelphia Phillies, according to an announcement made by the team on October 1, 2026. Kerr, who had been sidelined for the entire 2026 season, has been a key contributor for the Braves in recent weeks, returning to the bullpen and making the Wild Card Series roster. His decision to start the game makes strategic sense, given his strong track record in recent outings. Kerr has started three innings in four separate instances this season, including a scoreless three-inning performance against the Phillies on September 13. Kerr's ability to pitch effectively for multiple innings will be crucial for the Braves as they aim to advance to the Divisional Series. Following Kerr's start, Grant Holmes is expected to come in for relief, potentially providing three more innings to help the Braves secure their place in the next round of the playoffs. The Braves' bullpen, which includes Didier Fuentes and Dylan Lee, is also poised to be utilized in the coming game.",
